Cult & Culture Podcast Episode 61 feat. Chuck Tingle
In Episode 61 Justin Pearson and Luke Henshaw get into a slew of wild topics with Chuck Tingle, an amazing writer of modern "niche" gay erotica. But strap yourself in, pun intended, because Chuck's writing often ropes in dinosaurs, unicorns, sasquatches, and lands in the realm of horror and science fiction. However, there is an abundance of depth with Chuck and the hosts, since more often than not, these conversations often circle back to the larger umbrella of punk ethics. Most of the conversation, which focuses on various topics such as performance art, politics, genetics, creating community, everything in between which seems to circle back to Chuck's notable and righteous slogan, which is always on his masked face, Love is real.

Spartanburg
Chapter 67 Spartanburg The last episode of season 3! Keep us in your feed - we’ll pop up everyone once in a while with some bonus eps between now and season 4! We’ll see young Adam get in and out of trouble. And then in again. We’ll see post-adolescent Adam meet some fates. In this episode: Adam gets hired as a professional tour manager and breaks down in the buckle of the Bible Belt. A Baptist family tries real hard to convert him. First of all - when I wrote the conversations between Adam and Bishop, I was not considering that I would need to read his voice some day. What you’re hearing is a white guy from the west coast - who is not an actor - trying to change his voice just enough so the listener knows the character has changed. When I switch to a character that is not Adam, I am only trying to indicate that the voice is from the south. I am not trying to indicate the person is of another race. This is Aaron being a bad reader with a shitty southern accent. NOT Aaron doing “black voice.” I love this episode and I love the people I met in Spartanburg so many years ago. It was 72 hours that changed my life for the better and if there’s a microbe that comes across as disrespectful, I apologize sincerely. Please write in to lajlooababylon@gmail.com and let me know how I should have handled it. Or write me and I’ll dish more about that band I managed. Episode 39: Mary Houlihan Listens To "Hello Dummy!" by Don Rickles
MARY HOULIHAN (Mary Houlihan’s Painting Party) recently moved to Los Angeles and the first thing she did was visit B-$ & The O’Connman to listen to Don Rickles’ “Hello Dummy!”. This is a great episode to kick off 2026 after our holiday break. In this extra long episode The O’Connman talks some smack about other comics, B-$ comes up with some new personas, we listen to some weird characters from the open mics of Mary’s past like Johnny Q. Amish, Steve “Mr. Jokes” Whalen, and Johnny Hollywood, then we make a crank call to a car dealership. Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming arena tour of 3 Irish American comedians “The O’Riginal Kings of Comedy”. This episode is a complete banger. Enjoy!
